With Anfield firmly in the rear view, we head home to welcome the blades.

We go again at home after a tough game against Liverpool in the league and Carabao Cup. After little to no action in the transfer market heading into the match, attention will be firmly on the team performance, and whether the team can produce at a level to ease fan hysteria.
Yesterday it was all but announced that our pursuit to sign Aouar and Partey are practically dead. Aurora deciding to stay and Lyon for an additional year and arsenal seemingly unwilling to match the release clause for Partey. With the transfer deadline on Monday the lack of first team investment is bound to be a talking point after the game, and it's hard not to feel frustrated and angry with the lack of investment and backing from the owner, but let's see the full support Arteta receives by the time the transfer window closes.
Focusing on the game Arteta said in his pre match conference,
"I hope we can go on Sunday and grab three points because it's going to be really important for us before the international break... They have the necessity for points as well and that will make the team even more ready for it."
It will be great to head into the break with the 3points and keep spirits high, and so I think we'll see a back line of Gabriel Luiz and Holding in front of Leno. With Tierney and Bellerin in wingback positions. In the middle Xhaka and Ceballos with Aubameyang Willian and Laca up top.
I would like to see Pepe start this game but I think the manager is still trying to find a solution to our right sided attack.
Let's hope we keep it up, and head into transfer day with at least a win.
